Pricoviq Privacy Policy

Pricoviq is a Shopify bulk-price management app operated by PraxisArc. This policy explains what information Pricoviq processes, how that information is used, and the choices available to merchants.

Information we process

When a merchant installs or uses Pricoviq, the app processes:

• Shopify store information, including the shop domain, store ID, installation status, currency, and store timezone.
• Authentication and session information required to connect securely to Shopify.
• Product and variant information needed to preview and perform price changes, including identifiers, titles, current prices, and compare-at prices.
• Price-operation records, including the selected change, original and applied prices, scheduling information, statuses, timestamps, and technical error details.
• An email address and message content if a merchant contacts us for support or submits a privacy request.

Pricoviq does not require access to customer names, customer contact details, orders, checkout information, or payment-card information.

Customer data and tracking

Pricoviq does not collect information directly from a merchant's customers. It does not use storefront cookies, web pixels, or other tracking technologies to monitor customer behaviour.

How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

• Authenticate stores and provide Pricoviq's features.
• Build and display validated price-change previews.
• Apply, schedule, and restore merchant-authorised price changes.
• Display operation history and diagnose failed operations.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the app.
• Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

We do not sell merchant or customer information or use it for advertising or customer profiling.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by Shopify and by service providers used for secure application hosting and database storage. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to Pricoviq or as required by law.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, protect the rights and security of merchants or others, or investigate abuse of the service.

Data retention and deletion

Store, session, and price-operation information is retained while Pricoviq is installed and only for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Shop-specific session and price-operation records are deleted when the app receives an uninstall or Shopify shop-redaction request, unless continued retention is required by law.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Information may be processed in countries other than the merchant's country, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, merchants may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of their personal information. Requests involving Shopify customer data are handled through Shopify's mandatory privacy-request process. We may need to verify the requester's identity and authority before completing a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Pricoviq's functionality, data practices, service providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
